Hi guys

Thanks for the info. I looked at an Aeronca tail wheel assembly when I was at rthe airport this morning and it looked to be about the right size. Will return what I have and get the Aeronca spring.

Good advice as always.

I used an Aeronca spring and a Lang Tailwheel from A/C Spruce on my LB-1

Hi Dave,
We used an Aeronca Champ tailspring and a 6 inch tail wheel assembly, PN 6131, from Aircraft Spruce. It works very nice.

Tail wheel spring

Hi Gang

Have come once again to the well of knowledge.

It is time to purchase a tail wheel assembly and spring so I can sit in the cockpit and have my friends push me around the hanger. Was curious what tail spring fits on the Classic.

I have a spring from ASSC that is susposed to fit a T-Craft (#2 in their catalog) but it is too short to fit my fuselage. Suspose I could grind out my attachment fittings and reweld a little farther back but that seems like a lot of work.

Any thoughts? As always, appreciate for any input.

Dave
