Hi Ron,
Randy Brooks came up with a way of adjusting the incidence of the stab, but it requires welding. If your plane is covered, it will be all but impossible. The drawing was on the old website. If you cant find it I can e-mail you a copy. alsag52-at-aol dot com. I used this method on my Hatz, and set it up with some positive in the stab relative to the way it was originally made. My Citabria used to cruise with the flippers down at least 10 degrees.

Elevator Angle of Attack Adjustment

by ronpenrose » Sun Jun 06, 2010 9:00 pm

I have a Hatz I purchased. I just got it flying and need to do pitch adjustments. I noticed that my Hatz has ont ability to adjust the elevator angle of attack. The only way I can adjust the tail low pitch is with the trim tab but this is not ideal. Does anyone have drawings that show a pitch adjustment for the Hatz?
Thanks
Ron
