Hi Hatzers,

Here an update of our "Vintage Hatz project" - very close to first run of engine:

Everything is painted and assembly of the ship almost compled less wings. Just awaiting flying wires for final completion!
Propeller should arrive this week and first engine run planned ina week's time.
Will get you posted on further progress.
Note: the cream color is in reality darker than shown on the pictures.

Best regards of your very happy father & son team Hans & Sam, H.C.#78, Switzerland

Outstanding!

You mentioned the cream actually being darker in person. What are the actual colors you used?

Hans & Sam,

A Grand Champion award awaits you at Oshkosh. Is there any way you can get your plane to the U.S.?

Incredible craftsmanship.

Hi Hatz guys,

Thanks for the nice comments! Indeed it would be very nice to show up at Brodhead with our baby!
The blue is a night blue, which I found on a 1938 Chevrolet (the nicest blue I ever have seen) and the cream is a bit lighter than a Sun Valley ivory. Exactly it is a RAL 1015 (European color number).
Will keep you posted on progress.

Best regards

By the way: the wing picture shows the true colour of the cream!
