Has anyone found a source for the compression tube PEM nuts, or another suitable 528 weld nut?

McMaster Carr has them

I ended up making my own on a lathe. The ones in the center of this pic:

Thanks Doug. Not sure why I didn't find them in McMaster Carr.

Those you made look very nice. It doesn't look like too much trouble to do at the same time as the tube end fittings.

You're right, they really aren't any different than the larger fittings and machining them is all the same process. The lathe I used had a collet setup so making these was really easy.
