Brake pedals

Post by Nick »

Good day folks and happy new year.

The classic plans call for "Aeronca 7AC" brake pedals. Can't find these. Is there a more common name?
Also, does one turn one's own bronze bearings, or is there a suitable bushing available? What have you used?

Thanks.

Hi Nick,
I got my bushings from a company in Rochester, MN by the name of Kaman Industrial Technologies. The address is : 3033 40th Ave. N.W., Rochester, MN, 55901
The part number I ordered was: EPB FF0520-05 SAE 841 FLG BRG: .3765 x .502 x 500. Their phone number is 507-289-1808.

The Aeronca 7AC brake pedals are available from Wag-Aero in Lyons, WI. The part numbers are 12613L and 12613R. You will have to cut the short end off the pedal.

Thanks John. Just to clarify, that's 8 bushings yes?
The attached image looks like the right pedals to me, how about you?
Thanks for the help.

Order a couple extra bushings.
Those are the correct pedals.
