Questions on wing rib plan

Post by beechdrvr »

I’m reviewing the Classic plans (sheet 1 and 2) and can anyone tell me why there are duplicate nose rib and full size rib profiles? I see that rib #10 is only on page 2 but everything else looks the same.
Curious.
Thanks

Page 2 are the full size templates that you use to build the ribs.
Page 1 gives you all the dimensions for the gussets as well as templates for the nose pieces and tail pieces. It also illustrates the differences aileron rib vs the full rib and also for the spar gap width depending on whether or not there are doublers at that rib location. Also there are 2 different nose ribs... one for the rib itself and a false nose rib that goes in between the rib locations (see pages 7 & 9).

Thanks Doug,
Just a sanity check. Kinda what I figured. Just seemed a bit redundant.
