Matco vs. Cleveland

Post by dougm »

Anyone have experience with Matco wheels and brakes and can compare them to Clevelands? The Matcos certainly are cheaper and lighter weight.

Matco brakes are on NX876HZ. They are adequate for run-up and stopping. Whether it is geometry and fit of the front brake pedals and related push rods or weak springs within the Matco master cylinders the pedals do not retract all the way. The only time it is noticable is when pushing the plane back into the hangar the sound of the pucks rubbing on the disc can be heard.

Thanks John. Good to know.

Anyone else out there with Matco experience?
