How many ribs in a Hatz?

Post by KentDornier »

Not having found a copy of Hatz for Dummies, and nearing the start of rib construction, I need to verify how many ribs and of what kind are needed. There are the normal ribs, the aileron ribs, and then those lower ribs inboard the ailerons that get a slightly different structure due to the aileron wires. Oh and maybe there are some ribs needed in the upper center section? I run a manufacturing business. You can not make anything without a complete BOM - Bill of Materials. Is there none for the CB-1? Searching the Hatz forums give me contradictory information, especially on the Hatz Classic postings. Thanks in advance for information. Kent

10 ribs in each wing inc the root rib. I believe the CS has 2 root ribs plus 2 just inboard, plus some ribs aft of the rear spar.
